The ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM from ASUS has been unvield at CES 2023, and it sports a display that is both 2.5K and capable of delivering up to 1,000 nits of brightness.
the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG27AQDM is a 27-inch gaming monitor with a 1440p resolution that has an OLED panel. The new ROG SWIFT OLED gaming display also referred to as Project ‘Endgame,’ features a response time of 0.03 milliseconds, a resolution of 2560 * 1440 pixels, and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. The screen has an anti-glare coating called Micro-Texture, and it has a coverage of 99% DCI-P3 and 135% sRGB. Additionally, it has a pre-calibrated Delta E value of less than 2. Additionally, with HDR enabled, it can reach a maximum brightness of 1000 nits.
The new ASUS ROG SWIFT OLED gaming monitor has had its body entirely redesigned. It now includes an under-side logo emitter, a matte black surface with a lot of RGB accent plates, and an easy cable management pass-through within the stand itself. Because the assembly itself contains a modified heatsink and air vents that blast hot air out of the chassis, it is able to offer temperatures that are 5 percent lower than those delivered by competing OLED gaming monitors.
A voltage optimization mechanism, according to ASUS, also contributes to delivering uniform brightness across the display. In addition, the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM will include an upgraded DisplayWidget Center that will allow for increased overall functionality.
The new Asus ROG Swift OLED gaming display is still missing a few key aspects as of this writing. Its price and release date might be revealed during CES 2023. However, there are rumors going around that the monitor will become available later on in this year. One of the ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) items that are scheduled to be displayed during CES 2023 is a premium mechanical keyboard that has a design that is more compact.
