The Call of Duty video game series by Activision has been available on PC and consoles for more than two decades. It’s undoubtedly the most well-known franchise the company has ever owned. Call of Duty Warzone first graced gaming screens on PC and consoles two years ago, and thanks to its popularity, the game is now finally being ported to mobile devices, where it has done very well, earning over $1 billion in revenue.
Pre-registrations for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile for Android Devices are now open
You can now preregister for Warzone mobile on the Play Store if you’ve been waiting to get your hands on Call of Duty Warzone Mobile for smartphones.
Pre-registrations for Android users begin today, September 15. Pre-registrations are not yet accessible for iOS devices. When the game goes live, players have the option of receiving a notification or having it downloaded to their Android device immediately.
Once the game is released, pre-registered players will also receive in-game goodies. Pre-registration users will receive a Vinyl-Foe’s Flame and Emblem – Dark Familiar once the game has 5 million participants.
The tactical silenced pistol known as the Prince of Hell will be available to players after the pre-registrations exceed 10 million people. Users will be able to purchase the Archfiend assault rifle once there are 15 million registrations. Activision has stated that all gamers will receive a mystery gift when there are about 25 million sign-ups. We’ll have to wait till the game is formally released to learn for ourselves because the company is being somewhat discreet.
The lack of information regarding the impending Warzone mobile indicates that we will have to wait until Activision is finally ready to share more details, potentially at a later time. However, considering that the game’s launch shouldn’t be too far away, pre-registration should be considered as great news.
Verdansk will allow up to 120 players to engage in firefights. Mobile variants will incorporate many components from the high-budget Warzone, including the addition of operators and weapons. By taking part in the Gulag, players will also have a second chance to battle their way back into Verdansk.
Crossplay between Android and iOS will be possible in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile on a free-to-play basis. The game will coexist with the currently accessible Call of Duty: Mobile, which is currently in its eighth season and is branded Train to Nowhere.
When Warzone was first released in 2020, it drew around 100 million players globally in a matter of just 13 months. Call of Duty published a blog post on March 10 seeking new developers for the future game.
Activision first revealed the smartphone version of Call of Duty Warzone back in March. Project Aurora was the codename for the mobile game.
The mobile version of the game doesn’t yet have a release date, although that could change during the current COD Next Event.
