Since the introduction of the Huawei P50 series, Huawei has placed a significant amount of emphasis on the use of Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. After using up the majority of its Kirin inventory, the Chinese manufacturer decided it was time for a shift in tactics. Huawei has been forced to rely on Qualcomm to launch phones because the business is unable to produce new chipsets, and this partnership is likely to continue in 2023.

It is anticipated that Huawei will keep utilizing the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset for each and every one of the devices that will be released in 2023.

Huawei is working on two flagship products that will be released in the first quarter of 2023. The foldable Huawei Mate X3 smartphone will be the first, followed by the Huawei P60 series.

According to a recent report, Huawei might equip the Mate X3 with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Chipset; however, the chip configurations for the P60 series are currently unknown. On the other hand, Huawei might be able to get their hands on a Gen 2 model.

Aside from these, Huawei also offers mid-range devices like the Nova 11 and probably the Nova 20 series, both of which will need to use Qualcomm chipsets in order to function properly. Later, the Huawei Enjoy series, which is designed for the domestic market, is also scheduled to unveil a new model.

In addition, Huawei is planning to release a new flagship smartphone in the Huawei Mate series before the end of the year. This device is also anticipated to be powered by a chip manufactured by Qualcomm. In the meantime, there are also other models that could premiere somewhere in between these timetables, and they could belong to any category.

Case in point: in comparison to the previous year, 2022 is packed with Qualcomm chipsets, and Huawei has released a variety of smartphones, including the Huawei Mate 50 and Nova 10 series, which are equipped with the most recent Snapdragon mobile Chipsets. That’s not it; the chipset was used to power the most recent flip-style foldable device from Huawei called the Pocket S, which had an affordable price.

Because Kirin is no longer available, Qualcomm and Huawei have begun working together more closely, and this relationship is expected to deepen and broaden all the way through 2023.
