Infinix has announced Infinix Smart 4 Plus in India. We have got a lot of information and the features of the device. The Infinix Smart 4 plus appears to be the direct successor to the Infinix Smart 3 Plus that was released sometime in 2019.
Just like its predecessor, the Infinix Smart 4 Plus is another budget phone for anyone that is looking for a good camera, BIG battery, and BIG screen phone for less price.
This device maintains the company’s past pattern where it has concentrated on wider screens in an inexpensive market way.
One important point to note between the Smart 4 plus and its predecessor is that it has a bigger screen and If you look at the back of the device, it is not entirely distinct from the Infinix Hot 9.
Another important point to note is that the Infinix Smart 4 Plus is actually buffed! The battery, camera, and chipset are entirely much better than its predecessor. This is real progress!

Infinix Smart 4 Plus
Infinix Smart 4 PlusDesign & Display

Infinix Smart 4 Plus presents a design of premium quality that is barely seen on smartphones with a little. The era of a low-quality camera and small screen size is gone! even in this price segment. The device features an HD+ LCD screen and it is 6.21-inches with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio (Pretty tall). A screen resolution of 1640 x 720 Pixels and a 90.3% screen-to-body ratio.
Despite the trend of punch-holes, Infinix didn’t include it here and I’m pretty sure that it is still worthy to have a waterdrop notch screen, which is in fact commonly seen even in mid-range devices. Considering the price, to me that’s totally ok.
The back of the device looks glossy and this gives it the appearance of a glass body but its made of plastic.
Apart from the screen size and battery, the design of Infinix Smart 4 Plus is one of the company’s selling points. It’s stylish and the glossy surface looks premium in the hand – almost seems like it’s a glass back.
There is a fingerprint scanner on the back and you get a dedicated microSD slot plus dual SIM slots-always nice to have this kind of sim tray.

Camera

Infinix Smart 4 Plus has a dual-camera module. They are made of a 13 MP (f/1.8) main sensor and a depth sensor. The camera is powered by AI, and also has HDR support. Other features include dual-LED flash, AR Stickers, AI beauty mode, and auto scene detection.
We have an 8 MP (f/2.0) sensor for the selfie camera which does a very nice job with clear shots. The AI selfie camera has a dedicated LED flash, AI Portrait, and also features Wide Selfie mode and AI 3D Face Enhancement for perfect selfies.
Performance & Battery

Being a budget phone, it is equipped by a 12nm Helio A25 1.8 GHz Octa-core processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage space which can be expanded. The device manages basic day-to-day activities with sufficient speed.
The phone can handle day-day activities very efficiently, but you may experience some lag if you’re into intense multitasking. It can handle casual games but the chipset isn’t strong enough to handle heavy games smoothly. You can’t expect a phone running heavy games like PUBG Mobile with smooth graphics for this price point.

The Infinix Smart 4 Plus has a battery capacity of 6,020 mAh which is quite endurant and it should last a full day when averagely used. Besides that, Infinix claims that the battery will deliver 23 hours of video streaming on a single charge and up to 38 hours of 4G talk-time. Infinix has offered a range of power-saving features that would help the power last longer.
Lastly, the Smart 4 Plus runs a custom UI called XOS 6.2 and it is based on Android 10.

Conclusion
Infinix is struggling really hard to provide consumers with devices that value for less money. With the price tag of N55,000, you get a good-looking handset with a widescreen, great camera quality during the daytime, and a big battery.
The Infinix Smart 4 Plus is a perfect device under N60,000 in the smartphone market. The device can handle routine tasks quickly and will be a good device for your routine activities. We may not suggest using the Smart 4 Plus for heavy users though, because the handset can not multi-task or handle heavy games smoothly. It has a decent appearance that appears much like a Xiaomi and it is a perfect device for watching videos.
The downside of Infinix devices, in general, is the user experience functionality. First of all, this phone contains a ton of bloatware and ads which most people find annoying.
Other drawbacks to consider are that the cameras aren’t perfect for night shots and it doesn’t support fast charging.
Will the Infinix Smart 4 Plus be worth buying? For its price, it is a really nice device. It has some drawbacks but it shouldn’t hinder you from getting it.
