A brand-new smartphone from Infinix that supports a whopping 180W fast charging is expected to be released in India, the company recently hinted. The model in issue may now be dubbed Zero Ultra, and a recent rumor has also disclosed its potential price.
A TechYorker story claims that the smartphone manufacturer will soon introduce the 180W rapid charging Infinix Zero Ultra in India under the name Thunder Charge. The smartphone’s finer points are still unclear, though. Nevertheless, based on the prior teaser, we already know that it will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery pack that can be charged 50% in just 4 minutes owing to the Thunder Charge function.
In addition, the device is anticipated to include up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. However, it mentions that the phone might just be a 4G model. The Infinix Zero Ultra might have a chipset from a previous generation, according to the claim. The report has revealed its potential pricing range, which may be between 25,000 INR and 30,000 INR, however further details are still unknown (roughly 315 to 379 US Dollars).
The 180W Thunder Charge Technology from the company might be included in the Infinix Zero Ultra. The new charging technology, which will debut on a few Infinix flagship phones in the second part of the year, was just unveiled by Infinix in India. According to Infinix, users will be able to charge a 4,500mAh battery to 50% in just four minutes thanks to the new technology. Furious mode and regular mode are the two distinct charging modes for the 180W Thunder Charge. With the push of a button, users can switch to the furious mode, which provides 180W of lightning-fast charging. To lower the risk of the battery overheating, the 180W mode charges batteries at a rate of 8C.
The Infinix Zero 5G, the company’s first 5G smartphone, was introduced in Nigeria earlier this year. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model was priced at N90,000. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC and has a 6.78-inch full-HD+ IPS LTPS (1,080×2,460 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It sports a 48-megapixel main sensor for its triple rear cameras, and its 5,000mAh battery supports 33W fast charging.
So far we do not have info regarding whether the rumored Infinix Zero Ultra will be releases outside India.
