iPhone 14 Pro vs iPhone 13 Pro: Design
The iPhone 14 Pro’s design has seen a significant overhaul. Dynamic Island, a pill-shaped notch in the display that houses the front camera and 3D facial recognition sensors, has taken the place of the notch. In order to make everything happening on the phone more accessible, Dynamic Island can be used as a notification center or a small secondary display. Instead, the iPhone 13 Pro’s notch serves no use for the phone’s display. The iPhone 13 Pro, on the other hand, has a smaller battery and is slightly more compact and thinner. The remaining differences between these two devices are minimal; even their body build have similarities, as well as the camera modules.

iPhone 14 Pro vs iPhone 13 Pro: Display
These two phones’ displays are not significantly different from one another, and their specifications are nearly identical. They have a screen of 6.1 inches, a Full HD+ resolution of 1170 x 2532 pixels, a frame rate of 120 Hz, HDR10 certification, and Dolby Vision support. They are Super Retina XDR OLEDs. The brightness of the iPhone 14 Pro’s display, which can reach 2,000 nits while its predecessor can only reach 1,200 nits, is the sole significant distinction between them. Contrary to Android phones, these phones lack fingerprint readers for authentication. Instead, they support Face ID technology, which uses 3D facial recognition. As was already noted, Dynamic Island, which is positioned in the center of the upper portion of the display, houses the Face ID sensors.
Camera
Even the camera on the iPhone 14 Pro is more advanced. With OIS support and phase detection focusing, its primary sensor, which has a resolution of 48 MP, is the first 48 MP sensor ever seen on an iPhone. The main camera of the iPhone 13 Pro, however, is 12 MP. These phones share the same secondary sensors, including a TOF 3D LiDAR scanner, a 12 MP ultrawide lens, and a 12 MP ultrawide camera (but with different focal apertures). Even the front cameras, a 12 MP camera with a different focal aperture, are the same.
Performance & Software
When compared to the model before it, the iPhone 14 Pro has an improved processor. It has an Apple A16 Bionic with an octa-core architecture that was constructed using a 4 nm manufacturing process. Two Everest performance cores with a maximum frequency of 3.46 GHz, four Sawtooth energy-efficient cores with a maximum frequency of 2.02 GHz, and a 5-core Apple-exclusive GPU make up the mobile platform. In addition to the chipset, there are 6 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage, with the option of 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB depending on configuration. The iPhone 13 Pro offers the same memory choices, but with a less powerful processor. We are referring to the octa-core Apple A15 Bionic, which was constructed using a 5 nm manufacturing process. This chipset includes an Apple GPU with five cores, four Blizzard performance cores with a maximum frequency of 1.82 GHz, and two Avalanche performance cores with a maximum frequency of 3.23 GHz.
The iPhone 14 Pro has a larger battery than the iPhone 13 Pro: 3200 mAh as compared to just 3095 mAh. It offers greater battery life in addition to the 4 nm chipset’s increased efficiency. MagSafe, a charging technology that may also be used to connect external accessories like battery cases, is one of the charging methods that are similar.
