Apple released a new low-cost iPhone and it is called iPhone SE 2020 or iPhone SE 2. It is the successor to the 2016 iPhone SE model. The iPhone SE 2020 price in Nigeria starts from N210,000.
In terms of design, the iPhone SE 2020 resembles the iPhone 8 but when it comes to its performance, it packs the specs of the iPhone 11.
Like the initial iPhone SE, the iPhone SE 2020 is packed with the latest iPhone’s performance specs. In this case, iPhone SE 2020 comes with the latest Apple’s A13 processor that is found in iPhone 11.
The iPhone SE is a budget phone specifically made for those who want a small phone in their hands. Apart from that, some users still want the home button.

Design & Display Of iPhone SE 2020

The iPhone SE 2020 has an exact design as the iPhone 8 and the LCD screen as the iPhone 11. The only difference in the LCD display panel is that the iPhone SE comes with a Retina HD display while the iPhone 11 has the Liquid Retina HD display.
The best and most accurate display distinction between the two models is that the iPhone 11 has a 6.1-inch panel while the iPhone SE has a 4.7-inch panel with a screen resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels and 326 PPI density.
Since the iPhone SE is strikingly similar to the iPhone 8, it comes with thick bezels at the top and the bottom. The bottom bezel holds the Home button which also has the fingerprint scanner within it.
You will find a USB 2.0 proprietary reversible connector plus a built-in microphone and stereo speaker at the bottom. You will find the ring/silent and the volume buttons at the top-left edge. It’ll be available in the colors Black, Red, and White. To me, the iPhone SE will attract users that are concerned with portability.

Verdict
Although the iPhone SE 2020 design looks identical to the iPhone 8, from inside it’s a different story. The latest iPhone SE 2 is carrying the same A13 Bionic chipset found in the iPhone 11 series.
With the current iPhone SE, that’s a fairly significant change when compared to the iPhone SE that was released 4 years ago. It is a small phone but with a big chipset that is perfect for those who are interested in portability and don’t wanna spend a thousand dollars for an iPhone.

Lovely phone I will say but the screen size might be an issue, 4.7inch in 2020. 😏. Either way, thanks for dishing out some specs there, nice review 👍
