Motorola’s Moto G-series have consistently been excellent budget phones over the last few years. Lenovo-owned Motorola is back with another budget phone to the series named Motorola Moto E7 Plus.
The Moto E7 Plus got a little more robust than its predecessor E6 Plus. The E7 Plus has a 5,000 mAh battery, while the E6 Plus had only a 3,000 mAh cell instead. For this generation, Motorola has switched to Qualcomm with Snapdragon 460 as the processor, while E6 Plus got Mediatek Helio P22 as its processor. You can see how Motorola buffed Moto E7 in many aspects right? Now check out the specs of the device below.
Moto E7 Plus features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a waterdrop notch. It has an HD+ resolution of 720×1600 pixels with a pixel density of 270PPI. The screen has a decent size but you can’t really expect detailed visuals with the provided PPI.
In the camera department, the Moto E7 Plus gets a decent boost, though, it is still a dual-lens array. The main camera is an affair of 48MP (f/1.7), and the bokeh effects are aided by a 2MP depth sensor. Not as handy as a wide lens or a telephoto one, you have no choice when you look at the price.
The Moto E6 Plus is driven by the Snapdragon 460 (11nm) octa-core processor as noted above, with four cores running at 1.8 GHz and four running at 1.6 GHz. 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage supports this.
A large 5,000mAh non-removable Li-po battery is backed up by the Motorola Moto E7 Plus. Considering the battery capacity, you should expect a day of power back up on the phone under average use.

Motorola Moto E7 Plus price in Nigeria & availability
Motorola stated that the phone will bear a starting price of EUR 149 (about $175 ~N68,000). 0 The Motorola Moto E7 Plus will be launched in India and selected countries in Latin America as well as in Europe. We have no info about its release in Nigeria but we estimate the price range of N80,000 – N100,000. Click on the notification to get the update when it arrives.
The Motorola Moto E7 Plus will be an outstanding purchase for those looking to spend as little on a phone as possible. It may be cheap, but it doesn’t show up in this way: it looks nice and has a big, reasonably high-quality screen that makes movies and casual games look nice.
Of course, there are compromises. It lacks the processor that can run multitasking and heavy games smoothly but the truth must be told, it is not easy to find a budget phone that also load apps and multitask smoothy. Base on the specs on paper the cameras also won’t do much better, and poor low-light images, like any budget phone at this price is not a new thing.
If you can afford to, should you invest more? For sure. Absolutely. But the Moto E7 Plus won’t let you down if you can’t.
