The Nokia 2.4 from HMD Global is aimed at consumers that are looking for a cheap phone yet with all the features that can run the day-to-day activities. The Nokia 2 lineup often concentrates on a bigger screen and optimized battery. You really can not overlook the little Nokia 2.4 has to offer for N55,000. The device can offer you good battery life for daily use, a huge screen for watching videos, and an upgrade to Android 11 & 12. It’s quite difficult to find a device with such a price that offers such an upgrade.

The Nokia 2.4 features a 6.5-inch display With an FHD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a pixel density of 270 PPI. You may find difficulties to see clear and detailed objects under direct sunlight.

Nokia 3.4 comes with a dual-camera setup which consists of an 8 MP(f/2.0) wide sensor, a 2MP depth sensor. You have a 5 MP(f/2.4) on the front.

A Mediatek Helio P22 (12 nm) chipset is included in the phone and is combined with 2/3 GB of RAM and 32/64GB internal storage which can be expanded.

Due to the low power usage of Nokia’s optimized UI, the 4,500 mAh battery can last very long and can comfortably last you two days. The 5W charger is crappy if you ask me and can take you up to 2hrs or more before refilling the battery, which is really bad.

The wonderful aspect of Nokia devices, in general, is that its UI is very simple and clean. It uses Android 10 which is upgradable to Android 11.

Verdict

You really can not overlook the little Nokia 2.4 has to offer for N55,000. The device can offer you good battery life for daily use, a huge screen for watching videos, and an upgrade to Android 11 & 12. It’s quite difficult to find a device with such a price that offers such an upgrade.

One thing about this device is that it is priced a little higher when compared with other devices like Tecno Spark 5 Air, Tecno Spark 4, or even Realme C11 which have similar specs but one thing that I’m sure of I that Nokia 2.4 is better than those devices if you ask me because it offers a clean interface with future upgrades.

Lastly, the chipset is not a powerful one. However, for a phone that is supposed to entertain you, whether it’s casual gaming or watching HD movies on that HUGE screen, this is just about right.
