DESIGN & DISPLAY
Nokia devices are recognized for their excellent product quality, and it’s obvious that the Nokia 8.3 5 G is no different. The device is not that sleek, instead, the smartphone is approximately 9 mm thick and 220 grams heavy. But the overall design is nice.
The front 24MP camera rests within a punch hole on the top left and it comes with a 6.81-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, 386ppi pixel density, and an aspect ratio of 20.9.
It has a 60Hz refresh rate screen and it’s LCD rather than OLED, with vibrant color and decent quality. The display also features “PureDisplay” which allows always-on HDR, adaptive brightness, and improved color accuracy.
With regard to the device body, we have the power (Finger scanner is embedded with the power button) and volume buttons on the right side. The SIM card slot is on the right edge, while on the bottom, there is a USB 2 port, a 3.5mm jack, and the speaker grills.
The phone comes with an abundant 82.9% screen-to-body ratio and this is due to its tiny bezels at the top and side of the screen. At the bottom is a small chin with Nokia written on it. The device screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Returning to the design concept of the Nokia 8.3 5 G, the frame is made of aluminum, while the rear is made of Gorilla Glass so as to offer some protection and also give some shiny refraction with eye-catching colors without sacrificing her identity.

PERFORMANCE & BATTERY
The device comes with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of memory and it operates on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G which comes with a built-in 5G modem.
Although the Snapdragon 765 G isn’t really the flagship of Qualcomm’s SoC, it is still optimized for multitasking and gaming.
The Nokia 8.3 5G operates with the Android 0ne operating system on Android 10 (Pie) with 2 years of Android update. The device is fueled with a 4,500mAh Li-Po battery and comes with an 18W charger that enables you to charge your device faster.
The use of Google’s Android One software is another good thing for the Nokia 8.3. It’s basically the same experience with a clean and simple interface you get on a Google Pixel phone, and as well as good usability when it comes to running apps and performing your daily tasks.
One major feature is the mobile roaming service named HMD Connect which operates in nearly 200 countries. You sign up with an app that records your data use as well and then you wait for a unique SIM card. The exact price is still unclear, but HMD has claimed that a 1Gb package will cost around $11.

Nokia 8.3 is, in fact, the first Global 5G Phone announced back in March, and HMD claims that the 5G is one of the device’s biggest features. Let me be frank, 5G isn’t something that everyone would actually worry about at this point, owing to the nearly non-existent status of 5G networks across the world.
There are several good points for the Nokia 8.3 5 G: it provides a smooth and efficient user experience with some of the best hardware. It’s an affordable device that will provide a gaming experience similar to flagship devices, with a large, very capable display as well. It also provides clean software, with no bloatware.
