Along with the OnePlus 11 flagship, OnePlus is reportedly ready to launch the new Buds Pro 2 TWS headphones in China on January 4. The earbuds support spatial audio and active noise cancellation and have been tuned in collaboration with Dynaudio.
The country has yet to disclose the earbuds’ sale date. On the same day as the launch, their sale might start. Nevertheless, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is already available for pre-orders at Jingdong in China.
The price of the upcoming Buds Pro 2 hasn’t been disclosed officially by OnePlus. For comparison, the original model costs about $120.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2 features
Recall that the OnePlus Buds Pro debuted in 2020. So, the 2nd generation TWS debut was anticipated for 2021. The 2nd generation premium TWS, however, will formally launch in China in early 2023.
The Buds Pro 2 has experienced numerous leaks in the meantime. In October, reputable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer disclosed the details of the earphones.
According to the source, the TWS earbuds will now also be available in green. New earphones will support up to 48dB ANC, according to OnePlus.
Interestingly, the first-generation Buds Pro offer 40dB of ANC. It is therefore reasonable to believe that the Buds Pro 2 will provide better noise cancelling than its predecessor.
In addition to that, High-Resolution (Hi-Res) audio compatibility will be included in the next headphones. The audio device will be able to reduce noise at 4000Hz, an ultra-wideband frequency.
Up to 99.6 percent of the noise will be effectively reduced by the noise cancellation. The TWS will also have a frequency response range of 10Hz to 40KHz.
According to the official photos, the Buds Pro 2 will come in Black and Green colors. Besides that, the earphones will bear the same Oppo logo as previously released DYNAUDIO earbuds.
