The OnePlus Nord Buds and OnePlus Nord Buds CE TWS were introduced to the Indian market by OnePlus last year. The Nord Buds and Nord Buds CE are the country’s entry-level TWS models.
According to Mysmartprice, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2, the company’s replacement for the Nord Buds currently appears to be in the works. On the IMDA certification page, the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds 2 with the product number E508A was spotted.
In addition, the Nord Buds 2 have been discovered on CQC certification, which shows the presence of a Type-C charging port, Per Mysmartprice.
Unfortunately, these certifications do not offer any other information on the upcoming earbuds. The CQC certification indicates that it is capable of providing a charging output of 1.5W for the earbuds and a charging input of 4.5W for the charging case. Based on the previous generation of the OnePlus earbud, which featured 12.4 mm titanium dynamic drivers and a dual microphone array for artificial intelligence noise cancellation; however, it lacked ANC and a transparency mode.
Therefore, we should anticipate some minor enhancements to the specifications of the upcoming OnePlus earbud, and there is also the possibility that a new design may be made available. Notably, there is also a possibility that the company would choose to include active noise cancellation in these inexpensive models. This is a possibility due to the fact that ANC is becoming a lot more common on-budget earbuds on the market in India these days. However, keep in mind that this is still only speculation at this point in time.
