OnePlus has just announced two new affordable smartphones, the OnePlus Nord N10 5G and the OnePlus Nord N100, just as it is rumored. Let’s look at the OnePlus Nord N10 5G price in Nigeria and the full specs below.
At first, when the company launched the Nord in July 2020, it seems to me they wanted it to be the only phone in the affordable category just like what Apple did to iPhone SE 2020. But the term ‘Nord’ has become a sequence now with the inclusion of Nord N10 5G and Nord N100 into the lineup. In Europe and the United States, both phones have already been officially launched and are ready to hit the stores this coming November. The One Nord N10 5G is already available in Nigeria with a price range of N180,000 – N190,000.

Quick review

We can recall that the OnePlus Nord featured a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, a truly decent display for the price. But this time around the Nord N10 has a lesser price and of course, OnePlus has to do some compromise o the display. The Nord N10 5G features a 6.49-inch FHD+ LCD screen with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz, which is a positive thing for some users. Although the resolution is not good but at least it is FHD+.
The device features a quad-camera setup around the back of the N10 5 G which consist of a 64MP(f/1.8) main lens, an 8MP(f/2.3) ultra-wide lens with a 119˚ field of view, a 5 MP (f/2.4) depth sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens. Selfies are handled by a camera of 16MP(f/2.1).
You’ll find a Snapdragon 690 processor under the hood which is 5G capable (supports Sub-6GHz but not mmWave) coupled with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory which can be expanded via an SD card.
Great to see the Nord N10 5G packing the OxygenOS 10.5 UI. It’s based on Android 10 but features OnePlus’ new exclusive UI upgrades. Additionally, the device comes with a BIG 43,00mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging.

Verdict
The OnePlus Nord N10 5G specs sheet is very remarkable and its Support for 5G connectivity is future proof and a great marketing move from the company. For users like me, the availability of a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a MicroSDXC card slot is very important.
There are, of course, a lot of compromises that assist with the greater affordability of the N10 5G, such as the Snapdragon 690 processor (Not the best for heavy users but good for this price range), LCD instead of OLED display, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 4300mAh battery (Very poor when compared with other mid-rangers that offer up to 6000mAh). However, the device still appears like a solid mid-ranger when you look at the overall design, 5G connectivity, support for 30W fast charging, and finally the camera specs.
