The Oppo Find X6 series is rumored to be in the works, and the next lineup is likely to include the Oppo Find X6 and Find X6 Pro. The company hasn’t said when the next Find X series will come out, but the Find X6 Pro’s camera specs have already been leaked online. On the back of the new phone, there are said to be three 50-megapixel Sony cameras. The latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is likely to power the Oppo Find X6 Pro, while the Oppo Find X6 could use a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
A report came out earlier this month with most of the details about the upcoming Oppo Find X6 Pro flagship phone. At the moment, there is no news about when the smartphone will be released. However, more details are starting to leak out, which suggests that it could come out sooner rather than later.
The latest leak comes from the well-known Weibo tipster DCS, and the discussion of the Oppo Find X6 Pro was about the camera hardware. The source says that the device’s main camera will be a Sony IMX 989 1-inch sensor with a 7P lens and OIS. The ultrawide module will have a Sony IMX890 sensor, and the third module is expected to have a Sony IMX890 lens with 2.7x optical zoom and OIS. Oppo will also add a ToF (time of flight) sensor to help with detailed mapping.
Leaks from the past have shown that the device will have a 6.7-inch E6 OLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. There would also be a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front of the phone. All three of the cameras on the back will have a resolution of 50 megapixels.
We can expect a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset to be inside. Based on what Oppo has been doing lately, though, there could also be a Dimensity version of the device with the latest Dimensity 9200 chipset. The Find X6 Pro could have up to 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage space on the inside.
On the software side, we can expect an operating system that is based on Android 13 and has ColorOS 13 on top of it. The device will also have a big 5,000mAh battery pack that can be charged quickly with 100W and wirelessly with 50W.
