Oppo has finally taken the wraps off the entire Reno 9 lineup, with three new phones now formally official, after many, many leaks and teases.

The three phones, the Reno 9, Reno 9 Plus, and Reno 9 Pro+, have a lot to offer Oppo smartphone fans and were all unveiled today in China. Let’s begin with the Standard and Pro model, you can check out the Oppo Reno 9 Pro Plus here

All three phones appear to be nearly identical, but they have slightly different sets of specifications.

The Oppo Reno 9 and Reno 9 Pro back are made up of glass, but the frame is made of plastic. They weigh 174g and have a thickness of 7.19mm.

The phones have a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a centered punch-hole, a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 394 PPI, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The 10-bit panel is protected by Asahi Glass AGC DT-Star2 and has a peak brightness of up to 950 nits.

The standard model is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, whereas the pro model is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chipset. MariSilicon X NPU for image processing is also included in the latter.

Both have LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. They also run the same ColorOS 13 operating system, which is based on Android 13.

They both come with the same autofocus-enabled 32MP RGBW selfie camera, but the back camera systems are different.

The regular Reno 9 comes with a 64MP primary camera and a 2MP monochrome camera. The Reno 9 Pro, on the other hand, has a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide unit.

They provide dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, NFC, and USB Type-C connectivity options. An in-display fingerprint sensor, graphite cooling system, and infrared sensor are among the other features.

Last but not least, both devices are powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast wired charging support.

The Reno 9 is priced at CNY 2499, while the Reno 9 Pro is priced at CNY 3499. Those looking for the best will pay a starting price of CNY 3999, but only in China. There is currently no international information available.
