The Realme C17 has been officially launched in Bangladesh. It is the lastest device in the brand’s C-series line. The Realme C17 has many improvements over the C15 and C12 that were released last month. These improvements are a Snapdragon 460 process, a 90Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole display, and camera upgrades. Realme C17 price in Nigeria will start from N70,000.
Lately, the company introduced the C11, C12, and C15, all of which focused mainly on large batteries. Although all of the three smartphones have one thing in common, the processor. All three smartphones use the MediaTek Helio G35 processor, but this time around the company reduced the battery capacity, improved the display, and added a new processor for the C17. Therefore, it appears to be that the new C17 will deliver improved performance over its younger siblings.
The phone features a 6.5-inch IPS panel that has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels with a pixel density of 270PPI. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate and it is covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass for extra protection.
The Realme C17 comes with four camera lenses on the back and these consist of a 13MP(f/2.2) primary lens, an 8MP(f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, a 2MP(f/2.4) depth sensor, and a 2MP(f/2.4) macro lens.
Performance is not often made a priority on budget devices but this time around Realme managed to use Snapdragon 460 (11 nm) rather than the Helio G35 SoC we’ve seen in Realme C11, C12, and C15. The phone has a 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card.
Realme C17 features a huge 5000mAh battery of which Realme claims it can last for 12.3hrs while gaming. It supports 18W fast charging.

Realme C17 price in Nigeria & availability
For the 6 GB + 128 GB variant, the Realme C17 is priced at BDT 15,990 ~ N70,000. Two-color options are available, namely Lake Green and Navy Blue. Realme has not yet revealed information regarding its availability in Nigeria. STAY TUNED.
Realme has been progressively gaining a stronghold in the budget market. When it comes to budget smartphone releases, the company is one of the most aggressive brands. The company has been releasing budget devices in a short period of time and the Realme C17 is the newest. With Realme C17, you would get a massive battery that can last you 2 days, a 90Hz display, and decent performance all for an affordable price of approx N75,000.
One thing I don’t like about Realme, in general, is that its budget lineup is getting extremely crowded with devices that are nearly similar with prices that converge. Yet the company continues to introduce new devices especially to the C-series and this makes it difficult for consumers to choose. The C12 and C15 were revealed by Realme just last month.
The Realme C11, C12, and C15 all have a huge battery and the same MediaTek Helio G35 as the processor but this time around Realme made an upgrade to the C17 performance by using Snapdragon 460, upgrade the cameras, and added a 90hz refresh rate display all for nearly the same price as the previous C-series models. For anyone else, a better performance, improved camera, and 90Hz display would be a better choice than the previous models.
