Realme’s cheapest 5G smartphone named Realme V3 was released in China and it is packed with some appealing specs and features. Rather than making many compromises and cost-cutting tricks, the company managed to provide the latest Power Efficient 5G chip. In addition, the company strongly considered the Realme V3 as the cheapest smartphone to come with 5G support. Realme V3 price in Nigeria is estimated to start fro N55-60k.
A square bump similar to the iPhone 11 houses three rear cameras on the which comprises of 13MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. There is an 8MP front camera. If you look at the phone’s device, specifically the back, it resembles the Realme C12 and the C15 that was released last month.
Realme V3 features a 6.5-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels (Full HD+) resulting in a decent pixel density of 270ppi. As for the display, it’s surely not the best device in this range. The commendation goes with the device with a Super AMOLED screen.
The Realme V3 operates on the latest MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G (7 nm) processor which is equipped by an octa-core CPU featuring two, powerful Arm Cortex-A76 ‘Big’ cores operating up to 2GHz, a powerful Arm Mali G57-class GPU With a 5G modem fully integrated. All of this comes ombined with an option of a max 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
The device comes with a 5000mAh battery capacity which can last all day and can be fully charged in 90mins with an 18W fast charger via USB type-C.
The Realme V3 runs on Realme UI on Android 10, but at some point, users should be able to expect an upgrade to Android 11 when it is released.

Realme V3 price in Nigeria & availability
The Realme V3 comes in three storage based variants. The 6GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage variant is priced at CNY 999 (around N55,000), the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage is priced at CNY 1,399 (around N78,000) and for the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage is priced at CNY 1,599 (around N88,000). It will be available for sale in China on September 17.
As of now, there is no information about its availability in Nigeria.
Realme V3 can make a good advantage in the budget market due to its 5G compatibility which serves as a good future proof. However, the truth must be told, Xiaomi Note 8 and 8 Pro has topped success charts for the budget segment all over the world. Sure it sounds good for Xiaomi, but is Realme V3 going to make some changes to the charts together with other devices of close price range released from Realme recently?
