Realme has officially unveiled its much-anticipated X3 series devices — Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom, they are, of course, the successors to Realme X2 and X2 Pro respectively. I’m going to talk about the Realme X3 Price In Nigeria and specs.

The young Oppo sub-brand, Realme, is on the rise. With just a few devices like the X2 and X2 Pro that was debuted just last year, the X3 series is the latest entry for the company, and this time around they are taking the head of the mid-range multi-camera competition.

Realme has concentrated on rendering the photography experience a smooth one for its X3 customers and trying to set a pattern with its devices, and a precedent.

Check out the full details below.

Design & Display

Realme X3 2 - Realme X3 Price In Nigeria And Full Specs

Once you look at the corners of the phone’s sides, you will start noticing some cost-cutting. First of all the frame is made of plastic. There is no aluminum which is no shock for such price.

There’s even a traditional fingerprint reader mounted on the side of the power button which I think most people hate.

You will find the USB-C port and the SIM card slot at the bottom of the phone – it is a dual SIM tray with no microSD card option. Loudspeaker grills is found on top and buttom of the device and mind you, there’s no headphone socket on the X3.

The Realme X3 comes with a 6.6-inch (1080 x 2400 pixels) IPS LCD screen and this is not a screen for which people will be excited. Yes, it has a refresh rate functionality of 120Hz but that is restricted to some UI elements. The X3 screen is covered with Gorilla Glass 5 for extra protection.

That’s not the only thing that I have to say about the quality of the screen, but one thing for sure is that it is definitely okay if you consider the price. But still, It’s an LCD panel, so it doesn’t deliver the intensity OLED screens.

realme x3 superzoom leaked - Realme X3 Price In Nigeria And Full Specs

Realme X3 is unique in the sense that it features good camera specs for ~$330. It also features the same main camera as the Realme X2 Pro (64 MP).

It sports a quad-camera setup including the Samsung GW1 64 MP (f/1.8)sensor, along with an ultra-wide 8 MP (f/2.3) sensor, a 12 MP (f/2.5) telephoto sensor, and a 2 MP (f/2.4) microsensor. A 16 MP main sensor is on the front, along with an 8 MP ultra-wide lens. Zoom or no zoom, for such price, that is already a good effort.

Performance & Battery

The X3 does not have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor but it has a chipset that is good and enough to please even the most demanding consumer.  The chipset is an old one but still good in 2020 when you consider the price. It is Snapdragon 855 + processor within it and is the updated variant of the 855 that debuted on so many devices in 2019. It was more than sufficient then, and will now be more than enough.

What this means is that your apps and games will run smoothly without going into too much technical detail.  Besides, you get up to 12 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM.

As for the battery, it has a capacity of 4,200mAh and this is powerful enough to get through busy days.

There’s a 30W fast charge adapter. To top up your battery, this is pretty easy. Without a problem, this should get the X3 battery from 0 to 50 percent within half an hour.

Conclusion

The Realme X3 is remarkable looking good mainly at the camera features. The hardware option may come off as a compromise, but because of the price tag it bears, it is really good. The Snapdragon 865 is obviously an old chip but that is not an issue since It has the power for good gaming efficiency.

The camera department of this device is where you get a better taste of the Realme X3 flavor.

Final Verdict
The camera is where the manufacturer has spent much of its money, and it's filled with some cool tech specs at least on paper. Most of the time yes. But not on the basis you might expect. The monitor is fantastic for an LCD, decent performance, and outstanding battery life.
