The Redmi Note 12 series will launch tomorrow. The Pro, Pro+, and Explorer models are anticipated to be included in the portfolio. The whole spec sheet for the smartphones has recently appeared on the microblogging site Weibo ahead of the launch. The Xiaomi sub-brand has been steadily confirming the primary characteristics of the Note 12 series over the past week.
There will be several similarities among the Redmi Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro+, and Note 12 Explorer. A 6.67-inch flat AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 900 nits will be included with the trio. Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HDR10+ formats will all be supported by the display on the full lineup.
The Dimensity 1080 chipset will serve as the engine for the Redmi Note 12 series. It will be powered by Android 12 and MIUI 13 respectively. A 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 67W and 120W charging is stated for the Pro and Pro+ models, respectively. The 4,300mAh battery powering the Explorer Edition, meanwhile, is supposed to offer a powerful 210W charging rate. The RAM and storage possibilities for the Pro model will be 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. There will be 8GB + 256GB configurations for the Pro+ and Explorer Edition.
While the Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Explorer will have a 200-megapixel Samsung HPX primary sensor with OIS capability, the Note 12 Pro will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 as the main camera. A 2-megapixel macro camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera will be included with each of the three variants.
Dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, a USB-C connector, a linear motor, dual stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio socket are other features that are typical of the Redmi Note 12 series.
