Design & Display Of Redmi Note 9

Unlike the Redmi Note 8, there’s a dot-display and it is located on the left top edge of the display with the camera inserted in the display’s extremely small O-shaped cut-out so as to thin the upper bezels and provide the maximum quantity of screen. This dot-display cut-out allowed Xiaomi to achieve a screen-to-body ratio of 83.5%.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 packs a 6.53-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
One thing about the Note 9 display is that it is bigger when compared with last year’s Note 8. So basically, this is a remarkable upgrade from Note 8 to Note 9 when it comes to screen size.
One more thing, the display is covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This means that more protection is offered to the display screen.
Still, on the design, you will find a USB-C port and the 3.5 mm headphones jack plus microphone and speaker grills at the bottom. You will find the power and the volume buttons at the right edge. IR blaster plus another mic on the top edge.
Unlike most devices, Redmi note 9 does not feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. Rather the usual rear-mounted scanner.

Camera

The back of the device comes with a quad-camera configuration consisting of a 48 MP (f/1.8) wide lens, an 8 MP (f/2.2) ultrawide lens, a 2 MP (f/2.4) macro lens, and another 2 MP (f/2.4) depth lens.
Features of the rear camera include HDR, night mode, portrait, autofocus, AL beauty, paranormal view, etc. As for the selfies, a 16 MP (f/2.3) lens embedded within the dot-display cutout does the work.
Performance & battery

The performance specifications are fairly typical for its price range: it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 (12nm) processor combined with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. These specs are like a boundary between a good performance for gaming and fairly smooth multi-tasking.
As for the memory, it comes in two variants. We’ve the 3 GB RAM/ 64 GB RAM variant and the 4 GB RAM / 128 GB ROM variant.
It is fueled with a non-removable 5020 mAh Li-Po battery and supports fast charging (18W charger).
Xiaomi claims that the Note 9 will last for more than 16 hours while playing games and up to 147 hours when listening to music.
The outstanding performance of the Redmi Note 9 is all due to the optimization of Xiaomi MIUI.

Verdict
The one thing I noticed is that Xiaomi is after the competition and these strategies (Cheap devices with flagship experience) they use are very helpful. Because the last time I check, the Xiaomi Note series tops the Indian market for budget phones with top quality, and as of now, Xiaomi has sold over 110M copies of the entire Redmi series since its launch.
In fact, the Redmi series keeps Xiaomi on the top of the market when it comes to budget devices with flagship experience.
