Samsung is almost ready to show off the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, the long-awaited follow-up to the Galaxy A13. Renders of the upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphone have recently been posted online.
Now, the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G has been certified by both the NBTC and the Bluetooth SIG. On the Bluetooth SIG database, a version of the Galaxy A14 with model numbers SM-A146B DS, SM-A146M DS, and SM-A146M was found.
In the same way, the Galaxy A14 5G is listed in the NBTC certification database with the model number SM-A146P/DSN. A report from MySmartPrice says that this version will likely come with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC.
Now, the device is on the US FCC website with a 15W adaptor and a 5000mAh battery. Based on the listing, the device might be coming out soon. Let’s look at the information we have.
With the model number SM-A146PN, Galaxy A14 5G went to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website. Some of the specs of the upcoming phone were hinted at in the listing. The model number WT-S-W1 could come with a 15W charging adapter and a 5000mAh battery.
FCC also says that the Galaxy A14 5G will work with more than one 5G band. It is listed with n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n40, n41 n77, n78, etc bands. Both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will work with the phone. It will also support two SIM cards.
Leaked renders show that the phone will have a waterdrop notch and three cameras. It will look a lot like the Galaxy A13, which came before it. It is said that the device has a 6.8-inch LCD with HD+ resolution. On the side, it could also have a fingerprint reader.
The Galaxy A14 5G is likely to come out with two different SoCs. Reports say that the US will get the Dimensity 700 chipset, while the rest of the world will get a mid-range Exynos processor.
The phone could have a main camera with 50MP and a front-facing camera with 13MP. It will probably come with Android 13 One UI 5 out of the box. Samsung hasn’t said anything about the device yet. In the next few days, we should find out more about it.
