Samsung has debuted the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G, one of the cheapest 5G phones currently. Starting on February 12, it will be available in Europe and it is priced at € 280 for the 64 GB. But you can get 128 GB of internal storage for an additional €20.
The Galaxy A32 5G is clearly going to be the most inexpensive 5G-enabled Samsung phone in 2021. More affordable devices could be announced in the future, but the Galaxy A32 5G will become the principal device for the company to carry 5G to the budget segment as of this writing.
From the way I’m seeing, no scarcity of budget 5G phones will be seen in 2021. The launch of the Snapdragon 480 5G chipset from Qualcomm also opens up the opportunity for even cheaper smartphones. We’d also like to warn you that 5G is not a justified reason to buy a new phone alone, but it’s becoming more and more likely that 5G will be provided by every new phone you find this year, irrespective of the brand.
There is not a lot of data about the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G yet. However, in almost every way, it should improve upon its predecessor, the Galaxy A31 in many ways. Now check out the specs revealed so far by Samsung.
The Galaxy A32 5G, at least based on the leaked, unofficial images, has a sleek style. The phone seems to have a back panel of shiny plastic that is free of a bump from the cameras. There is no rectangular or square camera bump because each camera module stands out separately from the back panel of the phone.
Coming with a 6.5-inch TFT LCD panel at an HD+ resolution, it is nonetheless not the highest quality display, but good for such a price point. It has a dewdrop notch housing a selfie camera with 13 MP, but perhaps the display itself would be clocked at a 60Hz refresh rate.
Along with a 48 MP main shooter with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8 MP (f/2.2) sensor with an ultra-wide-angle of 123˚, a 5 MP (f/2,4) macro shooter, and a 2 MP (f/2.4) depth sensor, the device has a quad rear camera configuration that will satisfy most average users.
The Galaxy A32 5G is driven by what we presume to be the Mediatek Dimensity 720 processor, although Samsung has been less precise, mentioning an “octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz” in the press release. The device can be configured in a variety of ways, including RAM choices of 4, 6 and 8 GB. Space is expandable, but on all versions, the default is 64 or 128GB.
The device has an amazing battery life and, with moderate use on Wi-Fi and maybe a little mobile data, can last you up to two days on a single charge, and a whole day if you are a heavy user who does power-intensive stuff like playing games and watching YouTube.
The 15W fast charging tech enables the 5,000 mAh battery of the A32 5G to juice up from 0 to 100 percent in around 1hr20 minutes.
What software the Galaxy A32 5G uses is still unknown, but it could be released with Android 11. Android 10 is the absolute minimum it will get, but Samsung is expected to begin rolling out Android 11 next year on more of its smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy A32 5G price in Nigeria & availability
Like I just said earlier, the device will come in three configurations based on RAM storage, and four choices for color. Samsung has not yet disclosed the actual configuration of the device, but three RAM versions, 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB, are listed in the formal release website, with distribution depending on regions.
In Europe, the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G was unveiled at a price of EUR 279 (approximately Rs 24,800) for the 64GB version and EUR 299 (approximately Rs 26,600) for the 128GB variant. Awesome White, Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, and Awesome Violet color options are available for the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G.
Samsung Nigeria did not mention anything about the exact release date in Nigeria. So, we may not see the device this month, however, we expect it to be released in early March. We estimate the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G price in Nigeria to be in the range of N160,000 – N170,000.
With decent performance all around, the Samsung Galaxy A32 is a decent 5G phone on the budget. It also costs less and has a much better camera than many budget phones that are 5G capable.
Performance in day-to-day use will be fantastic for average users. You will hardly experience any lag, and most of the casual games will run well.
