Long before even the Galaxy S23 is released, rumors concerning the Galaxy S24 had already begun to circulate. According to a report obtained from Sammobile, the Galaxy S24 Ultra may come equipped with a telephoto camera that has been upgraded. However, there hasn’t been much information provided about it. But today, a tipster provided some clarification on the subject matter.
It has been rumoured that the next Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone from the tech giant Samsung will feature a camera with a 150x zoom.
SamMobile cites the information provided by the tipster @RGcloudS, who claims that the Galaxy S24 Ultra would most likely include a telephoto camera that has “Gen4” optics and an aperture that ranges between F2.5 and F9.
Both of these things will make it feasible for the telephoto camera to shoot pictures with a 150x zoom, which is 50 percent higher than the 100x Space Zoom that is available on the Galaxy S22.
While this was going on, a tipster who goes by the moniker “Ice Universe” on Twitter mentioned around a month ago that the upcoming Galaxy S24 Ultra would include a new telephoto sensor. Additionally, he mentioned that the main camera might stay the same or have some minor tweaks.
The source claims that the telephoto camera on the Galaxy S24, despite having significantly better zoom capability than its predecessor, will still only be as good as the one on the Xiaomi Mi 13 Ultra. This is despite the fact that the Galaxy S24 will offer significantly better zoom capability than its predecessor. It seems likely that the future flagship smartphone from Xiaomi will be equipped with some insanely powerful telephoto optics and lenses. Given that Xiaomi is planning to unveil the Mi 13 at MWC 2023, it is possible that it will be a serious competitor to the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Samsung, meanwhile, formally announced on Wednesday that the upcoming Galaxy S23 series will be laucnched on February 1 at its Unpacked event.
This will be the first in-person gathering to take place following the beginning of the pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus in early 2020. Additionally, it will be live-streamed on the official website of the colossal technology company.
