Samsung has quietly expanded its Galaxy A series to include an all-new, budget-friendly 5G smartphone.
The Galaxy A series from Samsung is one of the most popular models throughout the year since it focuses on providing more straightforward options for customers with lower expectations. The South Korean business has silently launched the new Galaxy A23 5G and A04e in Brazil. The Galaxy A23 5G e A04e will place an emphasis on providing a comprehensive visual experience.
The new smartphones will be available for sale in Brazil beginning on January 16, 2023, and all of their specifications, including their prices, have been made public in advance.
Just in case you don’t know, Samsung has begun teasing the debut of its new Galaxy A23 5G smartphone in India. On Samsung’s official website, the company announced that the Galaxy A23 5G would be made available in the country on January 18, per Indiatimes.
Galaxy A23 5G Key Specifications
The Galaxy A23 5G is comparable to other entry-level to mid-range smartphones that Samsung has been releasing recently. It has cameras that are aligned vertically and a display that has waterdrop notch.
It has a screen resolution of Full HD+ and measures 6.6 inches. Since there is no information on support for a high refresh rate, we can only presume that it will be the standard 60Hz screen. However, the Galaxy A23 4G features a refresh rate of 90Hz out of the box.
The device features an octa-core processor. Although the name has not been made public by Samsung, it is possible that it is a Snapdragon 695 SoC. This comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. By using a memory card, the available storage space can be increased by up to 1 tb.
The camera component functions in a manner analogous to that of the Galaxy A23 4G. A 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) is complemented by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels. Even though there is a lack of specific information, we anticipate that the Galaxy A23 5G will offer features such as Live Focus, bokeh effect support for the front camera, slow-motion video recording, digital zoom (up to 10x), and possibly more capabilities.
It has a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh and runs Samsung’s One UI 4.1, which is based on Android 12 operating system. In addition, it has a fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth version 5.1, and a number of other connectivity options.
Samsung Galaxy A23 5G Price and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is available in two RAM and storage combinations, namely 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB; however, there is currently no information regarding the prices of either of these options. Galaxy A04e Specifications

The Mediatek P35, which is also an octa-core CPU and has a maximum speed of 2.3 GHz, was selected to run the Galaxy A04e. The Android smartphone also benefits from having 3 GB of RAM and 3 additional GB of RAM Plus, both of which may be used in combination with the 64 GB of internal storage. You can save even more photographs and videos by inserting an SD card that has a capacity of up to 1 tb.
The device will be offered for sale in Brazil with a main rear camera that has 13 megapixels resolution and a depth sensor that has 2 megapixels resolution. The front-facing camera has 5 megapixels resolution and will be an excellent supplement for people who are not as demanding as others.
