The new year has begun, and Samsung is getting ready to introduce the next iteration of its S series, which will be known as the Galaxy S23. There have been a number of rumors that the Galaxy S23 series will be introduced during the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is rumored to take place on 1st February 2023. Many of the specifications have also been revealed. Now, a fresh source indicates that the 128GB storage capacity of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series of smartphones may be dropped.
This piece of information was provided by Ahmed Qwaider, who has a solid track record of leaking information pertaining to Samsung products. If it turns out that 128GB is no longer available, then we may anticipate that the higher-end Galaxy S23 Ultra will only come with 12GB of RAM. Interestingly, Qwaider only disclosed a single storage choice for the S23 and S23+, although the S23 Ultra included three different options.
It should go without saying that an increase in the base storage would result in a rise in the initial price, but just in case: To refresh your memory, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S22 series of smartphones in 2018, with a starting price of approximately $883. However, it’s possible that we’ll see a substantial increase in those numbers this year.
The flagship devices that Samsung will release in 2023 are almost around the corner. The Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23+, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra should all be included in the range. On February 1, the company is rumored to release its new smartphones alongside the One UI 5.1 and the next generation of the Samsung Galaxy Book. However, we are still awaiting confirmation of the official launch date.
