Sony has officially unveiled the Xperia 5 II, which comes with some noteworthy features. It is the direct successor to last year’s Xperia 5 and it has so many upgrades. Sony Xperia 5 II price in Nigeria will start from N360k
Sony is continuing its tradition on its smartphone line with the recent Xperia 5 II concentrating on photography and video. The new smartphone also aims to distinguish itself from other Sony devices by concentrating on the device to be more gaming-centered, even though it does not have the screen size of a gaming phone.
However, with a new Snapdragon 865 SoC processor, internal heat dissipation mechanism, 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz sample rate touch input. When it comes to smoothness, the Xperia 5 II moves beyond photography & video.
The screen measures at 6.1-inches with a 21:9 aspect ratio. The Xperia 5 II features a 120Hz FHD+ OLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and 449 PPI pixel density. Smaller smartphones are not actually popular, but the display specs are really top-notch.
The configuration of the rear camera is practically identical to the Xperia 1 II. Even in terms of the camera components, it’s actually exact to Xperia 1 II. Only one thing that’s missing from the Xperia 5 II that is present on Xperia 1 II is the ToF depth sensor which is not a big deal in photography.
An outstanding 12MP (f/1.7) sensor with 1.8μm pixels and OIS handles all the photography. This is supplemented by a telephoto sensor of 12MP (f/2.4) with the 3x optical zoom and a 12MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide sensor for capturing a 119° wide field of view. We have an 8 MP (f/2.0) sensor for selfies.
More details on specs
