Redmi Note 11 Pro+ was introduced to the public about two months ago and is set to be made available in many parts of the world, but will undergo some rebranding before it does so. However, the phone will not be available in the Indian market rather Redmi will release the Redmi K50i, which is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+.
Redmi K50i will have the same MediaTek Dimensity 8100 System-On-Chip (SoC) as its predecessor as Xiaomi confirmed. The phone is scheduled to make its public debut on July 22, and until then, we have no doubt that the firm will continue to build up anticipation for it.
Redmi K50i: What We Know So Far
Xiaomi is aggressively promoting the smartphone and its Indian MediaTek team has made the decision to let the cat out of the bag about the Dimensity 8100 SoC that is included on the Redmi K50i. The team published a ranking based on the results of the AnTuTu test, which demonstrates that the Redmi K50i equipped with this chipset achieves a higher performance with 822,274 points.
It is important to note that there are other smartphones equipped with the Snapdragon 888 with higher scores, and even the Apple A15 is capable of achieving higher scores than this. Anyway, this is a marketing move, and we weren’t expecting the company to do anything other than promote its upcoming device.
Key Specifications Of The Redmi K50i
Redmi K50i will use the same set of specifications as the Redmi Note 11T Pro+, including the Snapdragon 8100 system-on-chip. As a result, the screen on the gadget will be an IPS LCD measuring 6.6 inches and have a refresh rate of 144 Hz along with a resolution of Full HD+. Since it is the only LCD to have received an A+ from DisplayMate, it is safe to say that this model is among the best currently available.
The camera features of the phone will consist of a main camera with a resolution of 64MP, an ultrawide camera with 8 megapixels, and a wide camera of 2 megapixels. The front camera on the phone will be of 16 megapixels. It is powered by a battery of 4400 mAh capacity that supports fast charging at 120 W.
Due to this leak, the company might decide to make further adjustments to the phone before it is released to increase its relevancy and to surpass the expectations of its customers.
The phone is expected to be released firstly in India in variant models; 6 GB/128 GB and 8 GB/ 256 GB on the 22nd of July, 2022. The price would range from about INR 27 000 to INR 32 000; the company would then make the phone available in an undisclosed date to customers in other countries.
