Twitter, under Elon Musk’s leadership, is making strides to grow its business. The corporation only just made the announcement of its Blue subscription, which awarded all of its customers with a Blue Checkmark. However, this precipitated impersonation by this premium service. Because of this, Musk has taken a back seat and put a hold on the Blue membership for the time being. Although the wait won’t be too long. On December 2nd, Twitter Blue will be available in 3 colors.
On December 2nd, according to Elon Musk, Twitter will relaunch in a “Blue with Gold, Grey, and Blue checkmarks.”
The way Twitter verifies accounts will be shifting as of the 2nd of December. There used to be just one color in the Checkmark family; now there are three: gold, gray, and blue. Elon Musk announced in a Tweet that Twitter would soon begin verifying users and assigning them one of three badges: a gold check for businesses, a grey check for government, and a blue check for everybody else. He further mentioned that before the check goes into effect, human verification will be performed on all verified accounts.
Musk claimed that the company was “tentatively” relaunching its verification function on December 2. All verified accounts, whether they belong to a famous person or not, a corporation, or the general public, will undergo human verification before the corresponding check is activated: “gold check for companies, grey check for government, blue for individuals. In a tweet, Musk described the process as “painful but necessary.”
A monthly subscription of $7.99 is required for individuals who desire Checkmark and other Twitter Blue benefits. Before, only verified accounts belonging to public individuals like politicians, celebrities, journalists, and others could use the Blue Checkmark at no cost.
