Short review
The display on the Vivo Y20 is a 6.51-inches HD+ LCD screen and has a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution with ~270 PPI density. On the center of the screen, where the front-facing camera is mounted, there is a waterdrop notch. To be clear, there is nothing appealing about the screen and it will definitely disappoint you if you are after a clear and quality screen.
As for the camera specs, there are three lenses on the back, and these consist of a 13MP(f/1.8) main lens, which supports PDAF. There is a 2MP(f/2.4) macro lens and a 2MP(f/2.4) depth sensor. Unfortunately, there’s no telephoto lens or ultra-wide lens and this will make the camera quality too weak but nonetheless, it is alright when you consider the price tag despite the fact that there are other devices with a similar price that offers more. And as for the front-facing camera, we have an 8M wide lens.
The Vivo Y20 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 (11 nm) SoC coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage which can be expanded via an sd card. The Snapdragon 460 is an entry-level 64-bit ARM SoC and It is Fabricated on Samsung’s 11nm LPP process, the 460 features four Kryo 240 Silver high-efficiency cores operating at 1.8 GHz along with four high-performance Kryo 240 Gold operating at 1.8 GHz. The power of the chipset is just not enough to smoothly run heavy games or multitask but will be ok for casual gaming, video streaming, and other day-to-day activities.
A 5000mAh battery fuels the Vivo Y20 and this is great. An 18W Vivo FlashCharge fast charge technology is included and can get you up and running in no time if you suddenly run out of juice.
On top of Android 10, the Vivo Y20 runs FunTouch OS 10.5. The interface is clean and simple to use. You will definitely find Some bloatware but you can disable them at your wish.

Verdict
The Vivo Y20 is a direct competitor to devices like Tecno Spark 5 or Infinix Note 8i and this is due to the fact that it offers a decent battery life with fast charging support, decent performance, and simple design. The device of course has some compromises like in the camera, display, and performance aspects but this is not a big deal to those who are not after those things.
The Vivo Y20 is a stunning looking handset that establishes a strong balance between battery life and big screen and this matters a lot to users that are more into streaming videos or playing games. It really isn’t intended for someone who cares about absolute speed or quality camera.
With that all said, I’m going to recommend this device to those who consider battery life and watching movies as their main priorities.
