Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G is the bigger sibling of Mi 10T 5G and the devices offer good performance and camera quality. It is no longer news that Xiaomi is a good brand that is rapidly gaining popularity due to its quality phones for good prices. Right now the company is the fourth-largest maker of smartphones in the world. But really the brand isn’t that popular in the flagship market in Nigeria because most of the flagships that are popular in Nigeria are from Samsung and Apple. So, the brand’s popularity comes from entry-level and budget segments, where it is dominant.
However, in the Mi lineup, Xiaomi makes affordable flagships mainly aimed at consumers that are looking for premium features like Snapdragon 865 chipset, quality camera, 5G connectivity, 144Hz refresh rate, etc all for a cheaper price tag when compared with other flagships. The Mi 10T pro is basically the affordable version of Mi 10 Pro that was released in February 2020.
The question now is does Mi 10T Pro 5G come from a brand that knows how to make an attractive, strong phone? Actually, the phone from Xiaomi is just as stylish and strong as the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus.

Display

The device has a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. For a smoother experience, the display provides a 144Hz refresh rate. As compared to the other flagships, the refresh rate is just great and the smoothness will impress you when you are scrolling. There is no notch and the display only comprises a selfie camera that is mounted on the top left corner within a punch-hole. The device has HDR10+ certification, which ensures that when you are streaming videos, you get the best image quality.
Big phone, Big camera

Just like in Mi 10 Pro 5G, the Mi 10T Pro 5G major distinguishing factor from other flagships is of course the Samsung ISOCELL HMX, a 1/1.33-inch beast with a 108MP and 0.8µm pixel resolution. Xiaomi invests significantly in enhancing imaging by collaborating with Samsung. Nonetheless, we have three camera lenses on the back of the Mi 10T Pro 5G and this consists of the ISOCELL HMX serving as the primary lens along with optical image stabilization (OIS). Also, there is a 12MP(f/2.4) ultra-wide lens and a 5MP(f/2.4) macro lens. The front-facing camera clocks in at 20MP(f/2.2).
There were three others accompanying the 108-megapixel camera: a 20-megapixel ultrawide-angle lens, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens.

Verdict
With a strong processor, fantastic design, and some of the best camera quality, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G does almost everything right. If you are looking for an affordable flagship device, you should probably consider the Mi 10T Pro 5G because it is similar to Samsung Galaxy s20+ with a lower price tag.
Like other Xiaomi devices, the software experience of MIUI 11 is often complained by consumers, and while Xiaomi seems to have sorted out several flaws in the MIUI 12 update, still a lot of consumers don’t feel like it is the cleanest interface out there.
